Military Accessory

29 products

Accessory sets for military builds: weapon sprues, helmets, ammo crates, sandbags, and the defensive terrain that turns a line of figures into a position. All brick-compatible.

What is in here

Weapons. Tactical assault weapon sets, black tactical rifle sprues, a lever-action rifle two-pack, ultimate tactical weapon packs, and a mixed firearm and weapon collection in several pack sizes. The modern weapons battle pack bundles a full squad's worth in one buy.

Helmets. The military helmet collection runs from a small pack up to the full assortment.

Scene props. Ammo box crates in four styles, sandbag packs in several sizes, a mounted machine gun set, and a desert recon drone.

Positions and terrain. Bunkers, trenches and defense position kits, war-damaged building kits, and terrain tiles.

Four rules that save money here

Buy by the pack, not the piece. A single rifle and a set of eight often sit close in price, because most of the cost is handling rather than plastic. If you are arming a squad, the pack is always the cheaper route per figure.

Match the weapon to the era, not to the figure. A modern carbine in a 1944 squad is the single most common thing that breaks a display, and it is the easiest to avoid. The best compatible guns and firearms sorts them by period.

Two accessories per figure is the practical limit. Hands hold one item each, and a figure carrying a rifle, a sidearm, a radio and a pack cannot be posed. Spend the difference on more figures or on terrain. Must-have accessories every builder needs is the short list worth owning.

Sort them the day they arrive. Accessories are the fastest part of a collection to lose, and a mixed tub costs more in search time than a sorter costs to buy. How to organize and store your accessories covers the sorting that holds up.

Guides

The best compatible weapons and accessories for custom builds is the overview. Minifigure helmet types explains which shapes belong to which era. Body armor and tactical vests explained covers printed versus moulded gear and how to spot good print registration.

Arm a modern team from modern forces, a period one from WWII and historical, or give them somewhere to defend with build kits. Suitable for young builders and adult collectors alike.

Weapons and crates by the pack

Lever-Action Rifle Accessory, 2-Pack and 10-Pack comes in black or brown. At ten rifles the per-figure cost drops sharply against the pair, which is the pack rule above in its clearest form.

Military Ammo Box Crates come in four styles: tan weapon box, green weapon box, green first-aid box and gray weapon box. Two or three crates around a gun position read as a supply point rather than clutter, and the first-aid box is the one that makes a scene look staffed.

Tactical Weapons, Gear and Police K9 Accessory Pack covers a modern team in one buy, dog handler included. Pick this over single sprues when you are starting a modern squad from nothing.

Base and vehicle build kits

Military Base Buildings and Repair Depot Build Kits cover six builds: a brick cell block with barred window and razor wire, a sci-fi base perimeter wall with gate and turrets, brick barracks with a roof radar dish, a vehicle repair garage with a staff car, a stone armory shop with palm trees, and a sci-fi command bunker with a roof turret. One building anchors a table better than three more squads do.

Military Tank and Troop Vehicle Build Kits cover eight options: a military motorcycle with sidecar, a white snowmobile, micro-scale tank sets of four vehicles in grey and tan, green camouflage or desert tan, a quad-barrel anti-aircraft turret emplacement, a desert patrol truck with mounted machine gun, and a tracked anti-aircraft gun vehicle. The micro-scale sets are the cheapest way to put armour behind a line of figures without losing the figures to scale.
