WWII German military figures are among the most collected historical minifigure types in the brick-compatible space, and most sets ship figures with minor variations of the same basic field uniform. This set was designed to cover the full spectrum of documented uniform types present in a WWII German military unit, from the senior officer in dress uniform reviewing his command, to the front-line infantryman with standard harness kit, to the communications specialist carrying radio equipment, to the winter warfare soldier in full snow camouflage. Eight figures, eight different documented roles, eight different visual identities that each tell a different story about the unit's structure and function.

The white winter camouflage figure is the most visually distinctive and historically significant piece in this set. White winter snow smocks were issued to German forces operating in Eastern Front winter conditions from 1941 onwards, one of the most documented and photographed uniform types of the entire war, and one of the most frequently requested WWII figure variants by historical minifigure collectors. This set ships one, complete with white M35 helmet and white snow smock over the standard field gear visible beneath. For diorama builders constructing Stalingrad, the Ardennes, or any Eastern Front winter scene, this is the figure the scene requires.

This set ships figures only, with no weapons pack included.
