The French poilu in light blue uniform with brown leather cross-strap and dark red trousers is the single most visually distinctive figure in this set, and it is the rarest WWI uniform type in any minifigure catalog. Collectors building Western Front dioramas, Verdun scenes, or multi-nation WWI displays have had almost nowhere to source a French infantry figure in this level of detail.
