The Story
A messenger arrives at the edge of the woods just before dusk. The crowned leader studies the path while the guard gathers around, shields close and crossbows ready. Somewhere beyond the trees, a watchfire has gone dark. Send the company to investigate, keep them at the gates, or split the patrol between two trails. Your own castle and forest builds become the setting for a story that starts with one unanswered signal.
