The Story
The drums start low and slow along the river bank. Eleven braves in black robes lift their tiger shields, each one painted with bared teeth. At the front, their general sits tall on his horse, twin plumes rising from his helmet and a dragon banner snapping behind him. Crossbowmen take the flank. Sabers flash gold in the morning sun. Today they hold the crossing, and nobody gets past the tigers.
