The M8190 SWAT Police Tech Unit is built around three accessories that no other police minifigure set in this category includes simultaneously: a black armored Hummer with rooftop gunner and yellow spotlights, a black surveillance drone quadcopter, and an autonomous robot dog unit. Twelve all-black tactical SWAT figures provide the personnel. The Hummer, drone, and robot dog provide the technology. The black armored SWAT Hummer is the hero prop of M8190. It ships with a rooftop gunner position: place the sniper or heavy weapons figure on top and the scene is immediately cinematic. It's a vehicle that does narrative work on its own, before a single figure is placed beside it. For kids, it's the thing they grab first. For collectors, it's the centerpiece of the diorama.

The black quadcopter drone is the modern battlefield accessory that distinguishes M8190 from every historical and classical SWAT set. Suspend it above the formation for aerial recon. It immediately signals that this unit operates with twenty-first century technology, and it photographs strikingly against the all-black tactical palette of the figures and Hummer.

The olive robot dog unit is the most unexpected accessory in M8190, and the most memorable. Autonomous ground-based robot dogs are real-world military and law enforcement technology, and their inclusion in this set gives the M8190 a near-future tactical ops identity that purely historical or standard SWAT sets simply cannot offer. Position it at the front of the formation for point-man recon, or beside the drone operator for a full-tech deployment scene.

All twelve figures wear POLICE-printed tactical vests and communications helmets, but each figure carries a different face and loadout configuration. Skull mask, goggles, gas mask, balaclava, visor, standard stern: the face variety ensures the squad reads as twelve different specialists rather than twelve copies of the same operator. The dark grey and black uniform palette gives the entire unit a cohesive tactical identity that holds together as a squad and photographs cleanly in any lighting.
