🤖 THE ROBOT DOG – A first in the BrickBros lineup: The mechanical black robot dog is the first robotic/unmanned ground vehicle prop in any BrickBros figure set. Unlike the biological K9 dogs included in other sets, the M8175 robot dog represents the tactical UGV (unmanned ground vehicle) systems now deployed by real-world SWAT and special operations units – robotic platforms used for reconnaissance, room clearing, and hazardous environment entry. At minifigure scale it reads immediately as a tactical robot unit, creating a scene prop that no amount of conventional figure accessories can replicate. The BrickBros M8175 set is the only brick-compatible figure set that ships both a tactical drone and a mechanical robot dog in the same pack. Together they represent the two unmanned platform types now standard in advanced law enforcement and special operations units – the quadcopter UAV for aerial surveillance, reconnaissance, and tactical overwatch, and the robotic UGV for ground-level reconnaissance, hazardous entry, and perimeter security. A SWAT scene with one operator flying a drone overhead, another controlling a robot dog entering a doorway, and ten armed operators in tactical formation is a scene type that has never been possible in a single BrickBros purchase before this set. The first dark skin tone figure in the BrickBros range.
The M8175 set includes the first dark/brown skin tone minifigure in the BrickBros product lineup – a SWAT officer in matching black and grey tactical gear with grey SWAT vest and black police cap. This figure represents a meaningful step toward a more realistic and representative squad composition, and for MOC builders constructing modern city police or SWAT scenes that accurately reflect real-world police force diversity, the M8175 is the first BrickBros set that provides that representation. The figure uses the same standard brick-compatible connection points as every other figure in the set and integrates identically with all gear and accessories.

Twelve separate black SWAT tactical vests and twelve separate tactical belt and hip rigs – one complete gear set per figure – mean every operator in the M8175 squad is fully equipped without any gear sharing or shortage. With twelve vests and twelve belt rigs, the entire squad can be deployed in matching full tactical loadout, or the gear can be mixed and matched with accessories from other BrickBros sets to create a varied squad appearance. The combination of 12 vests + 12 belt rigs is the highest complete-gear-per-figure count of any BrickBros set at 2 pieces per figure across the entire squad.

Two black NVG (night-vision goggle) helmet mounts are included as wearable headgear accessories – the folded or deployed NVG arm attachment that transforms any tactical helmet into night-operations capable headgear. Equipped on the NVG-mount-wearing figures already in the set, they reinforce the after-dark covert operations aesthetic that the all-black uniform and tactical drone combination establishes. For any builder constructing a night raid, covert entry, or surveillance operation scene, the NVG mounts are the detail that makes the scene context legible at a glance.
