Look at the tread pattern. Three full rows of chunky rectangular blocks run around the circumference, each block separated by a grid of grooves. That's not decorative: that's a tread design that reads as heavy-duty equipment at any scale. On a real truck or loader, block tread like this handles mud, gravel, loose ground, and heavy loads. At minifigure scale it does the same visual job: it tells the viewer this vehicle is built to carry, haul, or work. No other wheel in this range communicates that as directly as this one.

At 0.55", this tire is 40% wider than the performance 0.83" x 0.39" wheel and double the width of the 0.94" x 0.28" off-road tire. That difference is visible at a glance in any build. A narrow tire on a heavy vehicle always looks wrong, like the proportions haven't been thought through.
