Rally the guard
The outer gate has fallen quiet. From the courtyard, the Armored Griffin Knight hears three knocks on the iron door: the signal from his missing scouts. He lifts his sword and gathers the guard beneath the arch. There is just enough time to let them through. His red crest rises above the shields as the door opens, then closes against the shapes moving in the mist.
